When A Teacher Leaves--A Documentary By Anabelle

You won't get it.
No offense, I'm just saying--if you aren't a six year old who knows first hand what preschool is like, you probably won't appreciate this.
I think Anabelle did fabulous--enrolling her sister to do some camerawork as well, with a handheld still camera that happens to do video. In other words, the sound is horrible and you'll have to strain to hear Sam's voice.
And, for the most part, it's true--this documentary of a mom gone silly after leaving preschool... with only a slight touch of exaggeration. Listen closely and you might hear Anabelle's cry for help--it cracked me up. Had to take two takes of that, and it was all her idea. Mike and I constantly wonder where our children all get their dramatic tendencies...
After this first directorial debut from Anabelle, she was inspired with an episode idea for Penguins of Madagascar, which the family thinks is hilarious. I typed it up with her reading over my shoulder, and sent it in. We know good and well the likelihood of anyone from Dreamworks reading it is nill, but we love encouraging creative hilarity.
We'll see what she comes up with next!
