A Weekend From 3 Different Perspectives

Mother's Day weekend brought us our first weekend of perfect weather--not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, just right.
Throughout the valley, city attractions offered special deals for moms... my favorite being free admission for everyone at the botanical center. I assumed it would be an indoor facility but instead found it behind a rustic, abandoned prison wall. The kids were fascinated with the wall and the hike up the hills to see the different array of plants. The following day, Mother's Day, we explored the hiking paths just thirty minutes away from home and loved it!
So, to the 3 perspectives: Anabelle, Sam, and Mike each had a camera. Check it out.

From Sam:

He was fascinated with the prison wall.

He passed the camera to Dad for a quick mom/kid shot, then proceeded to take pics on plants that impressed him while on the move:

Mike brought the camera for the hike:

As part of mother's day, the crew took away my camera responsibility, but I couldn't resist taking at least one shot of my peeps.

And Anabelle snapped away during the botanical exploration:
We saw the pic above and wondered when we put her into solitary confinement and forgot about it... she enlightened us that one of the gazebo style buildings we entered had this giant hole at top--she was the only one to notice it and got a neat shot!
She handed me her fisher price camera to take this shot of her enjoying 'the wild.'
Anabelle tells us how to pose and where!
She spies this and asks me to take another shot.
