If you haven't seen Pixar's Prep and Landing you won't get this joke. And you should really see it if you love Pixar stuff - it's only 22 minutes and Hulu/ABC will be playing it only until december 29, I think. Plus I just provided a link, so really, you should.

Okay, so assuming you've watched it - I wake up Christmas morning and we see this:



You've probably already read the letter the elf wrote us. He wrote us one last year too that perfectly fits the Prep and Landing movie. And the year before they wrapped our hallway in wrapping paper since there had been a confirmed peeker, and the year before that he wrote a letter on fire safety because Katarina had sneaked back out of her room and turned on the Christmas tree lights because she wanted Santa to see how our tree looked all lit up. But I've kind of gone on a tangent, because that doesn't really relate...

So anyway, we're eating breakfast that morning and I relate the bizarre dream I had where heat ray vision, like Superman, was coming out of my eyes.
"What were your eyes shooting at?" Katarina asks.
I shrug. "It really didn't make sense in the dream."
Sam's eyes light up. "I know why you had that dream!!! It was probably when the elf was checking if you were really asleep or not - the rays hitting your eyes made you dream that!"
He cracked me up. Although... you never know.
