Tonight I went to Sam's holiday concert. I must admit, beforehand, I really wanted to just stay home and get warm. But seeing Sam's magnetic smile on stage, his 'Hi Mom' waves, his cracking jokes to the other kids, and hearing him belt out Christmas carols, was completely worth it. In fact, it was magical.
But the best part of all was his bow. Sam has no ordinary bow. Hands flair upwards right before he flings his upper body forward while one arm flies backward, high into the sky. Dramatic tendencies haven't skipped a generation in this family. I love it.
