99 Ways To Increase Your Income and Find Out What Women Don't Know

I agreed to enter a Value Gifts Blog Tour where Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing selected one of their 99 ways books and 1 of their nonfiction books for me to review. It felt a bit like Christmas opening up the bag and not knowing what would be inside. The first book was '99 Ways to Increase Your Income' which seemed very timely. The second was "What Women Don't Know (and men don't tell you). The Unspoken Rules of Finding Lasting Love" and it's title made me laugh, thus making my day.

My husband took first turn with the income increaser and within an hour shrugged and handed over the book. "I suppose if you never read Larry Burkett or Dave Ramsey it might be useful." After my turn, I'm left mostly agreeing with him. The first 3/4 of the book is sound financial principles and practical advice that would definitely benefit a high school graduate or someone new to the how-to's of stewardship. The redeeming factor is a chapter that deals with home-based businesses that had a few new and unusual ideas, especially if you do well with animals. Overall, I give this value book (they only cost $5.99 each) 2 out of 5 book lights. I did take a look at the other 5 value books and "99 ways to entertain your family for free" caught my eye. One might catch your eye. Check it out.

What Women Don't Know is written with engaging prose that will hold your attention and never let go. Bottom line: it's for single women. And if you're single, I guarantee they'll be at least one thing that is eye opening. From knowing who you are and what you're worth, to knowing the signs of a mature man worth falling for, this book is practical and gets down to the nitty-gritty. This book will stand the test of time. I highly recommend it, and hope to encourage my daughter to read it in the near future as she grows closer to the dating years. 5 out of 5 booklights.
