Mount Sinai

So, as part of sixth grade, the two teachers have always arranged this amazing field trip that lasts several days deep into the wilderness where they learn teamwork and survival skills among other things. Sadly, the behavior of a large part of Katarina's class was such that the trip had to be cancelled. Understanding the sorrow of the hard-working students in their classes, these two teachers generously offered extra-curricular, non-school field trips to a few select students - one of the field trips was hiking Mount Sinai (how cool is that!)

Katarina went along with our camera and documented the whole experience.

I must say that I thought Katarina was handling the disappointment of the giant field trip being cancelled very well.... until I saw the slideshow she put together of all the photos she took.

Subliminally, I think she might have been using some expression of feelings towards her classmates by her song choice...

Katarina insists that isn't true and she chose the song at random...
