Summer temperatures seemed to take a long time to come our way -- a fact I was very thankful for, yet the last couple weeks have been hot. We are very thankful to have a swimming pool and a waterpark fountain system on both sides of us within the subdivision, so the kids have enjoyed getting cool. If we go in the morning we've found the pool is relatively empty. The kids invent all sorts of games-- I was busy working poolside when I heard Sam yell, "Expecto Patronum!"
I looked up and saw Katarina, her hair over her face, and Anabelle as dementors. It was a pretty hilarious game to watch.
Katarina then found she could flip her hair back, and show off her "George Washington impression."
