Mike's had a busy month. Here's just one of the highlights that I had to brag about - he officiated his first wedding and he did a fabulous job. I had forgotten how much I love a good wedding. And, they did a very cool thing that apparently is the hip thing to do but I'm out of the loop - they had a candy bar. No, they didn't give us each a Twix or a Milky Way. Instead they had this giant table filled with all sorts of fancy candies, and what looked like a Chinese carryout box (except with pretty flowers all over it) and you got to go to the candy bar and have your fill. The kids were thrilled when we brought 3 boxes back. Of course, I got my fair share of teasing as I went to the candy bar and eagerly filled 3 boxes - one kid pointed me out as he held his full box and told his dad, "NO FAIR! Look, SHE gets three!!!" I don't think he believed the 'I have kids' story.
